Por otro lado aún esta en veremos si la audiencia se lleva a cabo ya que los defensores del ex-general, han planteado un recurso de habeas corpus, en el que demandan la repatriación inmediata al istmo panameño. Ellos abogan que debido a que en el primer juicio se le condenó en condición de prisionero de guerra, entonces las mismas condiciones se deberían aplicar en este también, ya que la convención de Ginebra prohibé la extradición a paisés terceros.
Como punto y aparte quisiera agregar que personalmente me gustaría la idea de que no se le extraditara a Francia, solo por observar y analizar, las consecuencias que traería una venida de Noriega a Panamá, sería chistoso ver si algún PRD se atreve a ir a darle un abrazo cuando llegue al aeropuerto de Tocumén, y también que hace la oposición.
